Client Feature: Cavanah Noe Residence
For this edition of our monthly client feature we will be focusing on the Canavah/Noe Residence. This feature includes an in-depth look at the specific design and products implemented within the home redesign. Lead designer, Tony Mammoliti, was kind enough to lend some of his time to go through the process of putting this project together.
When asked on the specific product that was used, Tony provided the following, "throughout the home redesign, we prominently feature Miralis made and produced cabinetry. We wanted to implement complimentary colors with the white high gloss and meteor grey, with the exception of the powder room. For the kitchen, the complimenting pieces included: mat glass doors, white painted glass for the backsplash, as well as LED lights hidden underneath the cabinetry and the open shelf area."
Tony continued with the kitchen redesign explanation by getting into how the cabinetry was customized; "We went with a specifically requested handle-less cabinets, while using two color toned elements with the white high gloss and meteor grey for contrasting colors which provided a nice, linear, clean design as well as two seams used to differentiate color which only required 3 sheets to implement. meteor grey cabinets were used to surround appliances to match stainless steel coloring. The open shelf area was implemented to leave room for display items."
When transitioning to the laundry room, we were given a simplistic and quick run-through, as all that was changed were the moonlight colored open shelves used for laundry room storage as well as to compliment darker colored washer and dryer units.
Finally concluding with the master bathroom, "the handle less design is also used for the bathroom cabinetry, along with the LED lights once again used underneath the cabinets. The master bedroom closet has hidden cabinets implemented to maximize storage space to go along with the storage pantry installed next to the bathroom. We went with another two color toned design used for bathroom, though this time they were two contrasting whites. Lastly, we added a colored open shelf to further add pizazz to the redesign."
