Client Display Feature: Hess Residence
The Hess Residence project had started off as a walk-in client into our showroom in Estero. The couple had been inspired from a few different designs which they had seen from various design magazines. They had then presented to us a mix of ideas to go off of. The original idea was to prominently feature floating cabinets and the use of LED lights to highlight the client’s art pieces, as well as leaving an open space left for their painting.
It was decided that a minimalist design which promotes the art pieces edged around the television would be the most fitting. Designer Tony Mammoliti had relayed that “it was a combination of the ideas presented to him with his own creative outlook that had inspired the finalized design”. Using 3D rendering, the final display design was modeled as seen below.
Tony had also thought of the idea of using two toned color contrasts, having darker left side of the display, and having a brighter right side with floating shelves. The darkened wood as seen behind the television is magnolia colored with a Guyana bright white opposing it. Neutral colored LED lights were selected so that the colors of the artwork would not be too contrasted.
The mirror reflection on the darkened side was a mixed idea from the proposed magazine display that the clients had presented along with an original concept Tony had proposed himself.
The display is completed with hidden drawers for the various television components to add to the clean presentation.
The installation process for this display had taken about a week, though the process of ordering each of the shelves and cabinets had taken up to three months. If this sort of stellar design is of interest to you, then we highly encourage to check out our showroom display at the Miromar Design Center in Estero.
